Our Story
Property Management Portugal (PMP) was created with one simple goal: to offer homeowners in Portugal a complete, seamless solution for caring for their properties.
Our story begins with a powerful partnership between two leading companies in their respective fields: Tripwix Vacation Rentals, a global expert in curated, high-end short-term rentals, and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Portugal Property, one of the most respected names in real estate in Portugal. Together, they identified a clear need for a property management service that went beyond the basics – something trustworthy, transparent, and truly full service.
With this in mind, Property Management Portugal was born: a company designed to unite three essential pillars of homeownership – property management, rental income, and real estate guidance – all under one roof.
We offer what we call a 360º solution. This means we take care of everything: from the everyday maintenance of your home, to preparing and managing it for guests, to advising you when it’s time to buy, sell, or simply make your property work smarter for you.
With local teams on the ground and deep knowledge of the Portuguese market, we provide homeowners with complete peace of mind.
The Founders
Francisco Bessa
A hospitality and oenology expert, Francisco is a managing partner at Tripwix and LV vineyards in Portugal. He is also a rugby coach in Lisbon.
Miguel Carvalho
Miguel has lived on four continents and is currently based between Lisbon and Mexico, with extensive experience in 5-star hospitality worldwide.
Michael Vincent
Michael is one of the two founders of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Portugal Property and has sold properties in Cape Verde, Berlin and Portugal.
